Attach one of our long-lasting, durable clothesline pulleys to your house and a second clothesline pulley to a post. It's that easy. Zinc pulley with permanently lubricated, cadmium-plated ball bearings.
    Use clothespin for brake.
    Anchor eyelet
    - Use extra clothesline for anchor. Tie one end to eyelet and the other to a weight (brick, large rock, etc.) This will keep the pulley in the correct position.
Many of our Amish customers install these with the pulley at the far end of the clothes line 5' to 6' higher than the near end. (It's usually mounted on the barn or the trunk of a tall tree.) When you hang your clothes, this means you have to pull hard to send them up the line. But, when you take them off the weight of the clothes mean the clothes line "self feeds" and delivers the next item right to you for removal.
Ball bearings virtually eliminate shaft wear and never need lubrication.
