T ENAMI glass slides are overall uncommon to find vs. everything else especially of non-Japanese scenes! To find original photos from Enami are even harder!
In this listing is the glass slide of the SOLDIER FIELD football stadium CONSTRUCTION . This is part of a collection of glass slides & photographs I have of before & after Soldier Field was constructed. It is in very good condition and is a very rare image. This was made from a Japanese guy which makes these even more uncommon. The subject matter in this scene is quite historical and with the glass slide some people scan them to make prints.
Enami's studio had a fire which destroyed a good part of it in the 1920s and then was bombed in the 1940s I think pretty much ending the company and why there are so many Enami collectors. They had started in the 1800s are made quite famous marked photography images of which hand tinted stuff is fabulously done like art. Enami glass slides command some of the highest prices in glass slides too and have for years.
