    Description

    At auction is an antique "Magic Lantern" Glass Slide. The size is 4" x 3.25".  Many of the beautiful color images were hand-tinted. This unique and original item was likely produced for classroom use. We obtained these from a private collection, within a box labeled "Artistic, Beautiful, Formosa, Japan". We are unsure of the exact dates, but these types of slides began production around 1905. Please inspect the condition of the image we have provided, to ensure that you are satisfied with this very old item prior to bidding.
