Rare Vintage Gold Tone PYRENE Ashtray Salesman's Sample

Rare, vintage gold tone PYRENE ashtray / salesman's sample. Manufactured by the Pyrene Manufacturing Company, Newark, New Jersey. Not sure what type of metal it is made out of but it is non-magnetic. I don't believe it is brass as I tried polishing it but it didn't work. It is in very good condition with the exception of a small dent on the bottom part of the label and some scratched initials underneath the ashtray. The label is a replica of a 1917 Pyrene extinguisher label. The extinguisher part never held any chemical, so yes, it is empty. Measures approx. 5½" tall and 5" in diameter (ashtray).
