    Description

Offered is a tourist guide names "This is Arkansas".  While I have been unable to find the exact date of this publication there is a welcome from then Governor Orval E. Faubus.  Faubus served as Governor from January 11, 1955 to January 10, 1967.
The guide is filled with pictures, every page has pictures, most having at least 3.  There is one picture that states that in l959 The Miss Arkansas pageant was picked as the nation's outstanding Miss America Pageant, so the guide was printed after 1959 but before 1967.  All pictures are in color giving a complete description of all the wonders and beauty of Arkansas.  There are 40 pages of information plus the outside and inside covers.  The front cover has a fold in the right hand top corner and a slight fold in the bottom right hand corner.  The remainder of the guide is in very good condition.  Each page of the guide is 8 1/2" x 11".
Topics covered are:  The Eleven State Parks, The Face of Arkansas, Its Great Lakes, Its Magnificent Mountains, It Colorful History, Fabulous Fishing,  Happy Hunting, Its Colorful Sports, Arkansas Crafts, Things to Do and Places to See.
A great addition to any Arkansas Memorabilia Collection.
